    Shiny Lid

Not too fussed with a short circut with this on. Not a bad idea but would you ride with one of these lids? http://www.motorcyclecity.com/hatlite.htm

Which reminds me I must see if I can find training wheels for motor cycles

No. There is also a reflective band doohickey thing called a "Halo", if I recall correctly, which you stick around your helmet. Not a bad idea, as no batteries are required, but I wouldn't wear one of those either. Nor would I wear one of those 'dayglo' (or is that "gaydough"?) vests with reflective stripes on.
Incidently, there's a guy who lives in Northcote who wears one of those vests, but rides like a crazy mofo. So is he really safety-conscious, or what?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Maybe the guy in Northcote wears the dayglo vest so they can locate his prostrate form on the side of the road if he rides like a maniac?

it's a wonder the MOT hasn't made them compulsory already , I for one think they would be a bloody nightmare, I put flurotape on the back my daughters helmet when she first got a scooter, just wanted to make sure she was seen, Pete wears the helmet now and the flurotape is still there, a lot of the dririder pants and jackets have fluoro tape along the seams and that's as far as I'd be prepared to go I guess. Given the amount of movement the average helmet has to endure I'd imagine the lights would play up constantly.

Wow - You mean to say you wear a glow jacket AND yellow leathers while riding your yellow shiney brightly coloured K4!!

Cajun, you ARE the original "banana man" and don't you ever deny it!

Ps. back to the topic - I'd never buy or wear one of those rude helmets...but you go for it Skyryder!
