Looks pretty cool - come on lotto!
I think it looks cool
It does look a lot like a KTM in a way![]()
Dusty Butt 1000km - We knocked the bugger off what next?
Looking more like an adventure bike...
Be interested to read some ride reports of this new beast, hopefully prices will be lower than KTM etc...
That light brown one looks alot better Nordieboy, I like the look and the practicality of the higher front guard. The early KTM 640's looked better with the higher front guard on them.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
Wash yer mouth out ya blasphemer!I'm surprised they didn't come out with an orange colour scheme like the XT660R.
They do look good but I reckon they owe a lot more to the 1150/1200GS than any KTM styling wise.
If they can price them at less than $13K I reckon they'll sell a few.
Cheers

I was waiting to see the new Transalp before getting too excited about the new Tenere.
(If it will be as shown in the pic) front brakes are interesting, a lot of pistons there. Any guesses if that's a 21 inch front wheel? We'll know after the weekend I suppose.
Hopefully it's lightish. Could be a tough call. Anyone getting impatient about the 690 adventure? ..or pondering how much weight you could save by ditching the big cans on the Tenere?
Wow.
A collision between a Tiger and a Strom for the styling, a 1984 XR250 for the suspension and a mini-moto and MotoGP bike for the front brakes.
50HP out of a liquid cooled FI 660 single......come-on Yamaha, you can do better than that.

I'd put a beer on that Transalp being heavier than the old one. KTM & BMW seem to be the only manufacturers interested in making their adv bikes lighter, everybody else is going the other way.
Indeed. With the new 690 Enduro KTM rumoured to be cranking out 65hp & weighing 40kg less I know where my money would go.
Cheers
