gotta say, I'm really starting to like this bike.
I have a few concerns that will be confirmed or alleviated after I see one in the flesh, but all up, its looking good.
As clint mentioned, the price will be the kicker. I'm picking on road with a few accessories.......$15000

First hotel with free net in last night (finally). I recon the Tenere is going to go down a treat in Itally. Only just got to Switzerland so dont know about further north. Going to do a write up when I get to Sweden but Transalps, Africa Twins, F650 GS, TT/XT/Tenere(old), R GS BMWs and a smattering of old XL honda's made up well over 50% of all motorbikes (there is a total and utter dominance of scooters though) I saw around the cities of Italy. The only newer models were the TA's and the BMWs so I'm guessing there is space for a new Tenere.

The roads are so damn rough (especially the cobbled bits) that you'd be mad to ride a sports bike (though some do).

Only one thing wrong - no dirt/dust on any of them.
