Wink Daisy and Dandi get another girlfriend for a menage a trois!

Well as of today, I have stoked the passion for my love affair for two strokers yet again. I have added another RZ250 to my stable and this now means I have a circle of trust and love for my little ol'Hornet.

Daisy... is Donor's jilted ex-love affair and is on the rebound with me
Dandi (currently in bits) short for Dandelion

    And now... Daphne! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=107981086

She of course, is short for Daffodil! What can I say? I'm a SNAG with a soft spot for flowers

All she needs is some TLC, a new donk to put in (why! I just happen to have a spare one as well! ) and voila! Three RZ250s

This will be matching my keen interest to have the 250s, 350s and 500s in the range!

    Road trip again methinks!

    Well done J.

    That bike is definitely you.

Pity I'm a bit far away otherwise I would have liked nothing more than spending some time with a cup of kerosene and a toothbrush going over it. Then slotting that heart you have lying around into it's as new body.

Heheh that donk will require some work as well, but since I'm working on Dandi at the moment, investing some attention to it won't be all that bad! I love working on bikes - compared to cages, they are like painting a fine masterpiece as opposed to spraypainting a fence with an agricultural airgun!

And don't worry, will be plenty of more opportunities for you to do the ol'spannering! I think there will be more projects down the line for sure!

    Go the two strokes.

I'll be even more thrilled if you use this thread as some kind of journal, documenting your restoration of your various little endeavours, along with photographs, lots of photographs.

Just remember when you get a brain fart and decide to put Betsy out to pasture, there is a certain KBer that thinks two-strokers are the bee's knees!

And yes... every time I see you posting and I see that RZ350 under "bikes", I get a wistful sigh

    GIJOE,

    Arent 2 strokes fun.

I started riding on a TS125J Suzuki way back in the olden days, progressed to a RD350B, couple of years later I was on Kawasaki 750 triples. Dropped down to a Suzuki X7 250 at one stage.

Still love the sound of those engines reving their guts out while keeping in the power band.

I think you will find that you have a life long addiction here mate.

But a daphne is already a flower! She doesn't have to be short for anything! Who are you calling short anyway?!

Congrats on the addition to your little 2-stroke posy. I hope you realise you can still only ride one at a time.
