what the hell!! 144cc?? What is that about?
2 stroke to compete against 4-stroke 250's
Need less than 150cc to compete with a 250 thumper Doesn't that say it all!!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Oh cool. it should see some more 2 tangers back in the classes again.
The 144cc is a bit of me!!!! but i wounder about the price. hope its not going to be competing in the same price bracket, as the 250!!!!!!
With the new MNZ rules it may well have to compete against the 2 stroke 250s here. I don't think that FIM has officially approved the 144cc 2 stroke option for the MX2 class yet. TM and KTM both have bikes ready so maybe they'll force the issue (kinda like Ducati did with the 1200cc V2 in WSBK). My knowledge could be out of date as I haven't been following this too closely.
I first hear that in the AMA a 125cc, bored out to 144cc could compete, but a 144cc from factoury could not compete, but it may have changed by now.
