    jrandom is Prepared to Kill

    83 in a 50.

    Hobsonville Rd.

    $300.

Businesslike, pleasant-enough copper in a black mufti Commodore. At least he spared me the lecture.

I bow my head in shame.

    40.

It's OK, my last bundle dropped off a couple of months ago. It's been a barren, demerit-point-free wilderness of $150 infringements and camera tickets for the last couple of years.

If I had mirrors that did more than show me my elbows, I might have seen the black Commodore glide into range behind me after I pulled out and wrung all twenty of my ponies by the neck.

Running late to get home, you see.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Oh, well. At least a certain forum member who shall remain nameless will be enjoying the CD full of MotoGP goodness I left in his mailbox just prior...

Weeeeeellll... I *was* 33kph over, you know. And it was only a couple of hundred meters from a primary school, albeit at 6pm on a Friday night.

    I am a Bad Man.

At least he didn't ticket me for the unwarrantably shagged rear tyre, although it received a raised eyebrow and a comment along the lines of 'you'll be taking it easy round the corners then'.

    Yes.

I could have killed a few innocent children, dealt some P, defrauded Inland Revenue and insulted my wife's cooking.

But, fortunately, I decided not to bother with any of those this week.

But instead of that you decided to pay some extra tax, like the great citizen you are

Bummer! Writing out the cheque's gonna hurt! Think of the other things that $300 would buy. BUT...it happens SO easily, so don't feel too bad.
It's a hard road boy.......so try not to land on it.

O man I feel for ya! :disapint: I really dislike Hobsonville Road. It's boringly slow and often has a van speeding camera parked somewhere. I usually avoid it on my way home from work by taking the country road down past the airbase that links up further down Hob Rd about 400m from my house.

I'm glad I read this thread cos I would have probably had a wet cd in my mailbox otherwise. Thanks for that.

Oh, yes indeed. I wasn't riding on that shagged rear tyre because I *prefer* them that way, you know...
