this is stupid. u speed and get caught just take the punnishment like a man...and $300 big ones can cause a little pain.
Top marks to that man!! you play-you pay, I know $300 is a lot to cough up and could be better be used to enhance your bike etc but I dare say you knew you were stretching (bursting?) the envelope when 'the man' appeared in your mirror?

33 over is a bit much. $300 would hurt though.
Did you consider doing a runner?
Now there is sound sensible advice!! last guy that tried it down here wrote off mums $40,000 cage and injured his younger brother - I guess he weighed that result up against a $300 ticket too?

Should I start a 'how to do a runner properly' thread now?
Dunno'bout the fixxer but everything I've ever ridden('cept of course the old trailies)it's real easy to drift 20-30 (or 100 or so on the 12)over the limit without noticing

If you incorporte the use of smilies into your posts then people will know for sure whether you are joking or being serious. Besides, when did you start being humorous, all of your posts are normally dead serious aren't they Lou?

In response to the comments, attempting a runner would have been a really, really silly idea, given that:

    (a) Mr Black Holden Man had oodles and oodles of time to note my rego. My mirrors are so useless that he followed me with disco lights going for a while and had to blip the siren to get my attention.

    (b) The poor little FXR wouldn't be likely to hold more than 130 or so along that road, no matter how hard I tried, and I'm pretty sure an 'S' Commodore could juuuuust about keep up...

    (c) 33 over is a fair cop, after all. I should take my medicine.

As suggested, the only instance where I would consider 'avoiding contact' is while filtering on the motorway. But the tactical situation during motorway filtering is such that I never need to do anything that attracts the attention of our already-overworked LEOs, in any case.

Right. Back to the interesting threads about whose birthday it is and how good Jaz looks with StoneChucker's big thing between her legs...

Or we could make it compulsory to flag each post with a "THIS IS SERIOUS" or "THIS IS NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY" sign.

Just to be on the safe side.

Those smilies can be tricky to interpret sometimes, you know.

Well, perhaps because you are normally such a dry bugger that many would think you incapable of humour.

How silly of me to think that asking an FXR rider if he considered doing a runner might be funny.
Is the colonisation of our culture by Amerika also going to cost us a sense of irony?

I have a sense of humour Spud, I reply to you.

I could have, if there'd been stopped traffic or summat. They weren't to know.

Don't tread on my Real Biker fantasies, mister. They're all I've got.

Get over yourself, you don't annoy me any more than a fart in an elevator.
