Hmm? Pissed off? No I'm not.

Now, if you'd farted in an elevator, on the other hand...

hows the fine payments going there jrandom? you know i heard a rumour that if you send in a cheque for like $1 more then the amount you were fined they send you back a cheque for the refund, and dont put the demerits on till you credit that... so if u never credit it, you dont get hte demerits... sounds too good to be true eh? anyone else ever heard of it ?

Now who told you that KK?

JR will probably wait for the 2nd reminder notice before he pays! The again, has there been any thought or mention of writing a letter to get it dismissed..."it was ONLY a 150cc your honour!"

    Ps. You're not dry Lou!

Actually, I just don't think it's my month.

A slight error in judgment involving 'orange', 'red', the difference between such and the involuntary actions of my throttle hand at the Nelson Street offramp this morning led to a pleasant (but, at $150, rather expensive) rendezvous with a member of our fine constabulary on an ST1100.

I think I might start swimming to work.

one could begin to become a little disillusioned jr. maybe you should start driving a cage - they seem to get away with speeding/red lights/orange lights/driving like wankers in auckland with impunity....

    Good copper

Well I am compelled to admit that I was treated fairly by a policeman on the weekend. I was having a little blat along SH16, as ya do, on my little red white and blue FZR600 and was caught on radar at 128km. Probably the fastest I went all day so that was a bit suck-ish but I was fairly caught. The copper told me that I was up for (I think he said) 35 demerit points and a $280 (???) fine but that he would only book me for 120km (20 demerits and $120). Just because he was feeling kindly to an aged man on a little FZR600..?? Or was it my pathetic blubbing and whining...??? So I thought, well, there is humanity in the HP after all. I guess the fact that there was another bike with me, travelling at similar speed and that I was the first one he scoped was a factor. And of course, clear roads, good conditions, warranted and WOFed bike, geriatric rider....all mitigating factors., officer...

So I returned my pillion passenger (my 11 year old daughter..yes, I know, shame on me ...) to her lovely mother (my darling ex) after cajoling her not to tell mummy and now I await the outraged phone call...

But worst of all, and most unforgivable of all, I squashed flat a little baby duckling on my way back home (it was an accident, OK??)...and now my daughter doesn't love me any more
