    Getting rego?

Hi, I have recently purchased a CX500 and I can not read the headstock VIN number.

Does anybody know where else I can find this number on the bike, or how I can find it through any other numbers? There is a number indented on the right hand side of the headstock begining CX500-... and engine numbers. Also on the ride home the license/number plate fell off so I need to get this replaced, how do I go about this?

So what do I need to do to get a new rego and license plate?

    Thanks for any help.

Go to VTNZ and they can look out all the numbers from the rego plate. If you have to get a new rego plate why not get a personal one and be done with it.
PS; you can bet they will charge you more for the service but at least you will know the VIN / frame number for the future.

The VIN is only on the headstock, the other number is stamped into the engine - the engine number. Take a look thru these links if you want any help, or send me a PM.
