    Loss of horn!

No doubt Puns will flow like the proverbial baby oil at a miss universe competition, but..........

Hi , I've got a K2 650s that has had an air horn fitted to it, before I bought the bike. Noticed today that when you press the Horn button there is a whirring type sound from the little compressor and not much else. I have checked the hoses that connect the little compressor to the horn itself and all seem snug. I detached the hose and tested the compressor and there is some air coming out of the thing but nothing that I would call great pressure, probably enough to pump up a balloon, but nothing of any note (no pun intended).

Any ideas? Should I just go and buy a standard horn and attach it?
I have found a 'tutorial' on how to fit dual horns to the bike, that looks like fun.
BUT, any other info, i.e. how I can test the HORN part to see if it is working,etc....

    Cheers
    Ian

Thanks for the info. Alsol LOL at Hitcher! it did indeed make me laugh out loud.
Do you think a tyre inflator at a petrol station would have enough PUFF to check the HORN part?

One needs to be careful as to how one phrases comments about horns and blowing. e.g.

    Knock, knock.

    Who's there?

    Little Boy Blue.

    Little Boy Blue who?

    Michael Jackson.

A service Station compressor should operate the trumpet part.
