I go with the Cafe Racer line. Like I said when you first joined, it's a cool looking bike, and I bet you're having fun on it.
It's a hard road boy.......so try not to land on it.

So what do ya call older beemer twins? - mine probably counts as effectively naked, and some are completely so. Are they just "motorbikes", defying classification???

    They're 'standards'.

Actually, no, really. 'Standards' is the accepted term, AFAIK.

[Edit: Yours isn't nekkid. It's NOT. It has plastic bits up front. Ridin' the bikini beemer, that's you.]

All the younger folks would probably call it a Retro. What ever that is!!
I call it a very nice cafe styled bike.
If yours is the black one, keep it that way, just add a bit of tastefull chrome in the right places.
It's already a sweet looking bike.

Yup. I have to agree with everyone else. Definitely a cafe racer and quite a tasty one at that.

Just a little bit of chrome in the right places and it'll be looking really sweet. Nice bike.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Yep, it's a cafe racer. Pretty similar in lines to Honda's GB400/500, both nice looking bikes.

    Talking

Right - so a cafe racer it is - now time to figure out who wants to come with me on a cafe crawl - 4 cafe's over the space of 8 hours - about 2 hours riding between cafes... Starting in Auckland, and doing a nice big circuit with some twisties in it (not that I know what a twisty is) and some nice straights... I'm guessing that it would be a sunday at some point, but I think it would be a cool thing to do.

    Yo
