    The bikes worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. Its only travelled just over a tank of fuel in 10 years and had a heap sunk into it. More of an accessory rack than bike it would seem.

    Sure is pretty

    Deja vu! That's pretty much the same thing that came to mind! Only one man here (that I know of) that's qualified to comment... MVNut, what say you?

    (me, I'd go the Duke )

    There's naught wrong with decent fibreglass fairings... decent ones made from woven mat and not cheapo chopped strand mat (or worse) are generally the same weight as carbon, and occasionally lighter (depending on the manufacturer). Zero sex appeal in comparison though.

    Well, I had a 955 Corsa built for Doug Polen a few years ago and was a dick to sell it, but today I'd pick the Tamburini over the TradeMe Duke only coz I'm biased. But honestly, when you sink a ton of money into a Duc engine, rebuilds are frequent and very expensive. The engine bills for the Corsa were scary

    ??? My point was what justifies a price tag $55,000 over market value...there must be something other than a bunch of parts, nobody gets all their money back when they sell a bike loaded with expensive bits.

    Sure I know who Fast by Ferracci are....I can even spell it right...they're the guys who perform the following services:

    (from their website)

    * Bore Carburetors
    * Gas Port Pistons
    * Install Oversize Sleeves

    Ah huh, well I didn't have to look at their website to know they built a number of 916s for WSB and Daytona. You will never understand, as neither would most, but I expect that from our fast food culture.

    It's a seventy thousand dollar bike (or it will be if someone's mad enough to buy it) and you're calling him a poser? I'm sure it's very nice but a lack of pretension is not exactly top of the spec sheet, is it?
