    Its been through court

The end result was...... $600 fine plus $30 court costs. No loss of licence or requirement to spank the judges wife.I ended up just sending in a semi grovelling mostly honest, letter to the judge. Thanks for the tips, especially renegade master. Now where was that radar review coloum.zelto not beatin the feet no more.

    Recklessness.

Or was there a crash and hence, a "wreck"?

Dontcha love it when someone posts an "I got caught speeding" thread and everyone pipes up to tut tut them and tell them they shouldn't be speeding and that they're an idiot for doing it and they'll be dead soon if they continue, without even knowing the context? Can anyone on this site truely say in all honesty that they never exceed the speed limit?
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be quoted out of context, then used against you.

Shit, I got ripped off then. Got busted doing 152km Feb 06. Flash unmarked car with 360 degree radar got me coming up behing him on the Northern Motorway. Automatic 28 day loss of licence. I wrote a letter pleading guilty (no excuse obviously) and pointed out that nice police officer specifically mentioned he didn't believe it was dangerous taking into account time of day, weather conditions and low volume of traffic. I took it on the chin and paid the fine - $700 + $30 court costs. Definitely could've spent the extra $100 bucks on something else, ie, the train trips for a month.

196?! dude, thats a whopper! Where was that exactly? Must have been a beauty of a drive to catch up.

I never got to give out tickets that high... was too busy eating my fresh made doughnuts and drinking my latte.

Well lads and chicks, I have always maintained it is a complete waste of your hard earned money getting speeding fines.... and a waste of petrol when you are scrimping to survive on a tight budget (doobies, beer and KFC aren't cheap ya know).

You can always not pay your fines, accrue them up until you get arrested on warrant, then you can plead poverty.... the judge will then wipe all your fines and will give you so much community service to do that you get to watch the rust grow on your bike

    or

the judge could alternatively let you spend a week or three in prison getting some seriously sweaty man-love by some 350kg dude called bubba with a terrible rash on his todger.
