But there are two types of business model, ( the model used by the Sony for example ) make a lot of money per unit and sell a limited amount or ( the model used by the Warehouse for example ) make a small amount per unit and sell heaps of them

After all, I'm fairly confident that I could get myself a plain blank decent quality ( as in long lasting, not designer ) T-Shirt for $15 or less at quite a few places and I'm sure T-Shirt printers get them for a lot less again, and after all every shirt out there is a straight out advert for the site, in other words we are paying for the honour of promoting the KB site.

I'm guessing probably 80% of the bikers I know have never heard about it until I mention it to them, so every shirt out there gets more people to the site.......

I see on the merchandise page it also mentions postage of $6 per shirt ( as opposed to what other option, downloading the shirt off your PC ?? )

This make the cost per shirt ($35) with a riders KB pornstar name added ($12) and postage ($6) a mere $53 per shirt......

I'd take 3 or 4 if we could sharpen the price a bit , but at $53 each, 1 for sure, low possibility of 2.....

I'm not knocking anyones right to a profit, but afterall the adventure team did come up with this idea, and at the right price point, I'm sure we could shift quite a few

Just my 2 cents worth, Cheers, Stu

Is good to see the logic or reasoning behind your point.
    Thanks.

Well that tirade of mine obviously scared everyone off as there has hardly been a peep out of anyone since

Do we want to start up a list to gauge interest re shirt orders etc ?

Well I have the vector files so the only things left to do are:

Decide on the actual size of the screen prints. Remember it has to fit on small shirts, but not look too small on XXXL shirts. Use the current KB shirt logo as a guide.

    This is a XXS shirt.

Then I will start taking orders.

So am I right in saying that the shirts are going to be $41 with an extra $12 if we want our KB name added ?

Question for the guys ( riders that designed this idea ) here, weren't we going to have the adventurebike logo yellow outline / drawing on black T's without that yellow 'Square ' around it, that way the actual logo could be a lot bigger ?

That way it will stand out a lot better too, especially as the back wheel is now effectively filled in....

    Hi Stu

The image in the post above, is an the actual KB logo and shirt you can purchase, not the new adventure logo

    Cheers Scott

The Vector files I sent Spank are as my pictures in post116. There is no big yellow square in the current version.

I recon make the text about 200mm wide across the front (A4 Page is 210mm wide as a comparison) (I'm an XL and it is roughly nipple to nipple (ohhhh did somebody mention nipples ) The Logo on the back I would make about 250mm wide (A4 Page is 297mm wide as a comparison). This is pretty big and wouldn't go much bigger but been testing around the office and I think this is about right.

Basically an A5 in landscape on the front and a A4 in landscape on the back.

One thing to think about when getting this done Spankme is getting the logo in the right location so it doesn't look too far to the right given the lack of color above the roost. The center of the rear wheel needs to be slightly left of center but you and the printer can sort that hopefully.

    Cheers

I realise that Carl, but was just clarifying as all the shirts, stickers and patches done by spankme have the yellow square around them and it's a bit bloody late after printing to find that he that he presumed that we wanted that around the Adv bike logo too...... ( The more these things are clarified now, less chance of mis-interpretations later.... )

Totally agree with Ryans sizings too

On other small thing to clarify, are we still going to have the website address under the logo on the back ( and the option of uor KB name above the logo - or was that to be a small name on the front ? )

I think I said $35, and where you gonna put your name since both sides are printed? which increases the cost as well as does having two colors on the front.

OK, I need to know numbers to get a final cost.

Send me an email replacing the "X" in the subject with the number of shirts you will buy at $35 each.
