Impromtu gravity attacks
Before you go too far, make sure it is possible to register the bike here. If it was sold new in NZ it should be achievable but there are a number of american imports here (speedo in MPH) that, unless you have all the import documentation, are impossible to register here. (speaks from experience!)
Other than that I don't have any parts, but the wrecker in Rotorua (Andersons?) wrecked one not too long ago and he's good to deal with.

I can source a rear rego plate, light holder guard thingy. Can also get fork gaiters.

took your advice and checked it out,aaaaaarrrrrrrrr f*#@+k,thanks you just saved me quite a few extra $$$$,i'm absolutly gutted ,i've sent out some emails to try and trace back to the original owner ,bit of a long shot but you never know he might have the import papers filed some where,fingers are crossed. I've just been out to the Sandpit (Woodhill) for a shufty at the new facilities and put in a lap of the convict track and semi-constructed MX track on my DR. Poor old girl didn't know what had hit her!

only place i can ride at the moment,my mate picks me up on his way,
i can get round patetonga on the DR better than i can on his rmz250 ,
i dont like these light weight rockets,the DR got smoother power delivery
more torque, less gear changing plus im just cruising injoying the ride, i,m just use to the bigger thumper,plus i got no choice till i can save some more $$ for a road worthy one.

actually the more i think about it the keener i get,one for the road and one for the track. work the motor, ohlins shocks i reckon i could get her in the top ten on club days,it would eat the mercer sand trap.could be a columb

The guy i bought it of said he got it from a bloke in henderson auckland but cant remember his name, so if the bloke in henderson
is reading this give us a buzz or if someone might recall the bike let me know,any info would be apreciated the bike is:

turns out compliance wont let the bike vinn without original import papers,
so im just gonna get the torque limiter put in give her a service and sell her on.would love to keep her as shes a bit faster than a standard DR but i plan to do 70% on road, cant offord two bikes so out she goe's, anyway thanks for your help guys its good to know where in a community that helps each other out. RIDE ON
