Can't speak for anyone else but I've never grovelled to a cop. Just not giving any bullshit talk or "who pays your wages" attitude seems to be ray of sunlight on the coppa's day. If I'm speeding or splitting or whatever I normally know the $'s and demerits before I get stopped so if I don't get a ticket it's a bonus! We all know the rules really a? Guess I just have a purdy meowth eh boi! hahahahaha. Luck 'o' the Irish.

Shut up you fool - you're ruining the image of police and getting tickets that awful-truth wishes to portray!!

Hey ease-up - I've a small wiener, ride a Harley, wear tassles, have a porn-star mo --- I have to do something to make me feel like "the man" and making motorists grovel to me or risk a ticket is the way I do it.

I can't say I've ever grovelled to a cop or anyone else for that matter nor given them bullshit, or even gone with the wages line. I'm very civil. That's less than can be said for them. Having said that I haven't had a ticket or even been stopped in probably 6 years, aside from the usual checkpoints.

    So he will loose
Also has to be illuminated so as to be read just as clearly at night!

Is your Dad's plate illuminated accordingly? :spudwhat: If not, it shouldn't have a WOF!

If it has a current WOF, why has he got a ticket? John.

    fight it in court

i got a ticket years ago for not having the correct number plate

I had made my own smaller plate up

basis of defence was that the plate as supplied by the post office was too large and constitued a dangerous fixture or fitting an contravened wof regulations

had a contact who was a osh inspector, got a letter from him confirming that the plate was in fact a dangerous fixture or fitting

plods promptly threw case out and refused to produce any evidence for the prosecution

shortly there after the current style of number plate was reintroduced instead of the previous mandatory eye chart

take it to court and fight if you think you have a valid case
