You did the right thing mate, you gave the dozey bitch a chance to sort herself out, and due to her incredibly selfish and arrogant behaviour were left with no choice. You gave her a free get out of jail, and she ripped it up, so she deserves a phenominally massive and expensive bill for her mirror/ being a fucktard.

(so much for trying not to get riled up in my reply eh ? )

Did you break the mirror clean off?

Tip: Next time you do something like this, don't post it. Well please do, but pretend it's a hypothetical situation. Because this can be used as evidence or some shit. I've seen it before.

    Did you get the rego?
Lets hope the driver did not get BB's as well!

Nice work, you gave them warning and it was knocking a mirror or being in a very bad place. They should consider themselves lucky its only a mirror, not someone elses life.

by any chance was she blonde with those dumb arse big sunglasses on and also talking on the cellphone and holding her small dog and trying to drive at the same time LOL.

Nah good on ya mate, i would have done the same, might pay to start taking water bombs with ya, that way if the window is open just throw them in LOL

I have found that women that drive audi's that are blonde with those big sunglasses are just dumb, cutting people off, speeding up then slowing right down, always texting, talking on the cellphone or looking in the mirror and doing there hair, all going at over 100km's

Reading this sort of stuff makes me steam

Mate, it was you or her. In the USA they just pull a .357 and blow the problem away.

You did good. Green bling coming.

Not generalising here and I'm not chauvanist either but some woman behind the wheel of a Euro think they own the road and that a motocyclist is vermin that can be snubbed out at will. Many of them will never let you in when you indicate in a cage getting onto the motorway as well. You are meant to merge like a zip but hell they won't give an inch and pretend you aren't there.

Lucky it was a woman though as self preservation is foremost in their minds at times like that. If it had been a bloke and he saw his wing mirror hanging off his prode and joy it would be like losing a nut to a rabid dog. He would probably have tried to ram you into oncoming traffic in a fit of rage. It happens

In this case... good o ya mate

I think this is a common story for many bikers eh - I've had similar happen twice to me in one week!

First off a guy in a falcon changed into my lane on the south eastern highway before the lights at Carbine Rd.
Just saw him out of my peripherals and managed to pull into the other lane.

Pulled in front of him at the traffic lights, pointed then shook my fist at him.
Fuck that was tempting to break off one of his side mirrors.

Second time on the southern motorway a van bloody did the same thing.

I mean you can kind of understand if your nipping in between cars on the motorway and someone cuts you off.
We all have to kinda take responsibility there - but if your in the middle of your lane, car drives up beside you, then changes into ya lane thats just fukn retarded.

One thing I do now is never stay the same speed as the traffic whenever possible - always around 10K faster. - ya get noticed easier.
Just be assertive around other traffic and YOU make the move and take control (within reason) - otherwise we tend to get taken advantage of.

Oh a mirrorectomy, well done. A boot in the door or a fist in the head for arsewipes like that, is all the same in the end.

As you get older you will not be flexible enough to do that any more, thoughts of "Stebel Horns" begin to enter the consciousness!

I can't lift my leg high enough to kick the mirror! But I can still lift my thumb high enough to reach the horn button! "STEBEL"

Yep, that should do it! (can't wait.) (lol) Think I will buy two!

    G'd-onyah, well done!. Cheers John.

I have one of those moments almost every week. Haven't broken one off yet but I've pushed a couple forward just to make a point.

A mate suggested opening the rear door just before the lights go green. All the better if you can do the one on the far side of the car. Could be quite an effective message if they're left to get out and close it with a bunch of cars stuck behind. No chance of wilful damage charges either.

A taxi once tried to go through a give way and almost took out my wife riding in front of me, so I followed up with a boot to his door. But strangely I more often feel like kicking stationary cars here, when I'm stuck in traffic which I could get through 'if only that dumbarse was a bit further' over, y'know... I only actually did that once though, in one of the worst traffic jams I had seen going into Shinjuku this woman had actually parked on the side of the road. When I finally managed to get past, I stopped by the drivers door and gave it a kick. That's highly uncharacteristic of me though...
I prefer it when karma helps you out, like another time, in the left lane turning left at the lights, had already waited a couple of changes of lights there, then just when I was thinking that 'yes this time I will get through', the guy in the mercedes in front of me stops and parks right there at the front of the lights, crammed up against a fence on the left (big black mercedes are immune to parking tickets here). Well I had missed the lights again but since he was a little over to the left now I could get alongside, and sat there right next to his door so he couldn't get out. His left side door was blocked by the fence so he had to sit in there until I decided to leave

Yep good on ya mate, you did what you could, didn't work so evasive move required. Personally I would done exactly what you did or a kick to the door & followed her to have rather unpleasant words, that is just farkin retarded. WTF are people on, coming up behind you then pushing you over like you don't exist?

I understand what it is between cars n bikes, there's no real threat in there mind with a bike, weather it be conscious or sub (mostly sub id say).

I saw a motorbike courier pull up next to a car at the lights kick off the guys wing mirror then unleashed a barrage of verbal abuse at the driver, I was just sitting there pissing myself laughing (in my cage) thinkin fuckin oath that's the least he could of done.

ps: who is the moron that voted he overreacted? 38 no's & 1 yes???

    Hello??????
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
