Watched a couple of guys try to kill themselves on the way into Wellington this morning - on bikes.

Lanesplitting at 140-160 isn't a good idea, and I fail to see how they can display righteous indignation at not being seen. There was some very aggressive avoidance action thanks to trying to zap into spaces that "mad cagers" had indicated to move into after doing the normal checks, only to have something moving at more than 50% higher than the traffic flow appear in that space as they moved.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Hence the terms lunatic and lunacy!

Only you can answer that question.
Oh I know the answer to that question all right - that was rhetoric.

The point is I abhor the approach that an entire section of the general public fall into a prescribed category and the 'Holier than thou' attitude generally adopted by some others.

There are lots of wankstain idiots on bikes.
There are a lot of wankstain idiots in cars.
There are a lot of wankstain idiots on buses.
    (there's a pattern emerging here!)
there are a lot of wankstain idiots on foot.

However only a simpleton would resort to the simple model that

    All bikers are wankstain idiots.
All car drivers are wankstain idiots.
All bus passengers are wankstain idiots.
    All pedestrians are wankstain idiots.

Good to see that KB is blanaced, educated and not full of simpletons that would adopt a 'Them and us' mentality at the first opportunity.

I cant believe you almost got taken out Paul as the same thing almost happened to me about 90mins ago.

I just got home after a half day in Whangarei. Got off the NW Motorway at Western Springs after having come down SH16.
Get to the intersection of St Lukes Rd and New North Rd and catch the green arrow for me to turn right onto New North Road...I precede to do so and turn into the right lane...but coming in the opposite direction is a guy in a Toyota 4x4 who turns left onto New North Road without giving way and then decides to drive his HiLux into my lane with me in it.

If I wasnt paying attention I think I would have gone down. But because I was - I kept my cool and focused on putting the bike in a well balanced position so I could take a dwonward swing at his side mirror.

Got it too! Took the fucker off screws and all....then it was on the picks, behind him and up the other side to take a lefty up Alberton with my middle finger in the air.

Everyday people need to pay more attention.
