    Michelin Pilot Sport?

Anyone had experience with the pilot sport rear tyre. I've currently got pilot powers front and rear and the rear has lasted 5000km and looks like a slick. Front still looks pretty good but I'd rather have the front out perform the rear and the pilot sports are a bit cheaper anyway. Mainly sport riding with the odd long distance open road ride

I've got a Pilot Road on the front of my cb1300, 17,000k so far & still going strong. Would recommend to anyone, grip & wear have been exceptional with no 'moments' that I can think of

Thoroughly recommend the Sports. I had Powers put on front and rear last year, but got a nail through the rear tyre after a month, couldn't afford another Power so Cycletreads recommended the Sport option as I commute on the bike. It's proved to be very good in the dry and wet at commuting speeds and incredibly good when really pushing it if you know what I mean. I haven't noticed any difference between the sport or power, infact I reckon that a Power front and Sport rear is a very good combo for everyday riding. I've done about 6k on it now and it still looks new.

I now have this combination on my Triumph S4. I found the Pilot rear used to get a bit "squidgy" on my bike especially as it started to wear. Sensei recommended this combination and the bike is now rock solid. Can't comment on the wear as I haven't had it long enough. I live in Taupo so all my riding is backroad scratching.

I still find the Pilot Roads seem to be one of the best sets for the GSX1400. Good wet and dry grip versus the best wear. Can really toss the bike around in the twisties and they feel darn good. I back road scratch too.

Had both power and sport on my firestorm....to be honest i didnt like either....i only got bout 3000km from the rear and bout 5000 from the front.
I found the rear cooled off too quick when riding thru townships and lost traction too much in acceleration from hard cornering. In the dry they were average in the wet not so great. I have Metzlers now and are very happy...latest Metzler rear has bout 9000kms and i think i could get a couple more rides on it yet...(but only just....lol..) stays warm and tread is way better in the wet...cheers.

Ive used Powers and Sports. Wasnt that impressed with the Sports. I say stick with the Powers!
You will never be happy with a tyre if you "downgrade".
