I now have this combination on my Triumph S4. I found the Pilot rear used to get a bit "squidgy" on my bike especially as it started to wear. Sensei recommended this combination and the bike is now rock solid. Can't comment on the wear as I haven't had it long enough. I live in Taupo so all my riding is backroad scratching.
