Any "printable" advice please........ I'd like to get to the bottom of this.

Sounds like a bit of hardening up might be in order. Spent a bit of time riding that model of bike and found it pretty comfortable. The CBR600RR was a much smaller and harder seat which made it more uncomfortable. However as I was continiously moving my arse from side to side for courners it was not a problem. Maybe your like me now? I sit in a wheelchair all day and do not move around in it at all. I have to lift up with my arms and move my arse off the seat of the chair for a arse pressure relief. If your sitting in the one position for any length of time your arse will get sore as the blood flow is hindered. Moving around on the seat can help that and a more agressive style of riding might help. Don't think its ony related to a sportsbike rider either as I moved around just as much on my 2004 DRZ400 too. Hope this helps.
