I have seen many a time people on here dont think thats there is a person attached to their lynching... or maybe they dont care that it hurts? dunno...

I dont think it should be biffed tho (PD), there is a lesson to be learned... and by that I dont mean wear a helmet... I was hoping for some respect for fellow KB'ers to take these issues up in person either face to face or via pm and not in "public".

Seems not many know the meaning of that word.

Agreed... and therein lies a weakness of the web. Meeting people, seeing the flesh and blood attached to their bones changes a lot of things...

It's be nice if people could stay on topic.. what was done by Crashe (which - incidentally we are yet to hear her side of the story). Attacking her personality, physique or any of the other bullshit posts in here simply show a lack of maturity and an attempt to better themselves by belittling another.

A common tactic used by those without any real grounds for complaint.

    Perhaps we could add a poll on this thread, two options;

    1. I feel wounded that Crashe didn't wear a helmet when getting gas on a noobie ride
    2. I believe in personal freedom and couldn't give a shit what she did.

Come on mods, it'd make for interesting viewing, make it public as well

    I vote option 2!

What about option 3. Close this thread and let the poor woman get on with her life.

I did invite this cryticism, so I'll try to explain what I was saying calmly.

My point was, the two faced crap on here needs to stop, did a single one of you bitch about the pic when I first posted it? NO.

Did anyone red rep me for being an idiot, (yes, I can see it was dangerous, but you cant see how slow I was going, or that the street was empty, and you may or may not know the bike is a very long way off the point of no return)? NO.

If there was something done wrong, it was at the very first notion of organising the ride. If there were strick guide lines people were meant to follow, they should have been given to all riding.

Why dont the lot of you start a political party for gods sake, cos that's how you sound. "Do as we say, not as we do".

I was there, I saw it all. The engine was off, the bike was stationary, she jumped on the bike kicked the stand up and quickly stood on the pegs for a laff while we took the photo.

    So there

And if you weren't there and can't prove otherwise STFU!
    Haha, the winning post!

I haven't been a Kiwibiker member for very long and don't know anyone one it but it seems to me (according to the reactions and the feelings in this thread) that half of kiwibiker are a bunch of poofs. Harden up whingers. ------>

With all of the quality posts in this thread considered, many of which were posted by 'winners', I think you'd have to refer to Jim's post as the 'most winningest' post, to avoid confusion with posts by 'winners'. Comprenday?

    This is a lynching.
Crashe should not have displayed riding without a helmet in front of newbies. However, several riders went to the petrol station without helmets and gloves. I was seated with some "old skool KBers" at the time and every one of us told crashe to her face that she should not nag others about no gear and then do the same. And that's where it should have ended. Crashe has ruffled feathers by being the overprotective mother hen and in return many of you have decided to make an example of her as pay back.
This is why I stopped coming to KB site about 18months ago. Because many of the latest members are a bunch of whining shit stirrers.
If I don't like someones riding I TELL THEM TO THEIR FACE
If I think someones riding is dangerous I TELL THEM TO THEIR FACE
The Crusty Demons influence millions of youth all over the world and do far more dangerous shit than Crashe.
This sort of thread is thoroughly disappointing, and as far as i'm concerned there are a few members on here who need to look up the word comrardery in the dictionary.
I was with Loosebruce & DSS3 when they died and will never condone riding without a helmet. I have also been a KBer for a few years and will never condone public lynching of a member who might ruffle a few feathers but has never endangered another rider by acting the goat.
Perhaps some of you need to get off this computer and go get a life???

Don't really know what you're trying to say. Just to clarify, I was saying Jim's post was good, pretty much said no one was there so they should shut. I meant that the people whinging about the "dangerous riding" and "irresponsible" behaviour are being pretty pathetic.
