luke was at the bucket racing track here in welly the other day... he had on his helmet, back protecter, boots leather pants...
i spat the dummy at him....

he had NO jacket OR gloves...

now on the face of it you would think that he was out on the track... you would be wrong, he was in the pits... on gravel/dirt on a borrowed bike... but he had to get off it untill he had ALL his gear on. end of story.... if anyone else had done this... who cares?
not me.. it is their choice, this is NOT a nanny state YET

Don't be sad. At the end of the day, it's only an internet forum. Just as with any other media you (and I) will react to certain posts/threads in certain ways. Some you will agree with, some you won't, some will be meaningless to you, some may make you laugh, some may make you angry, some will prompt you to be flippant and ridicule it or take the mick as I have.

Like it or not on a forum such as this, most people will be up there own arses when it comes to defending their point of view. They will think they are the worlds leading expert and refuse to budge from what they perceive to be right and proper.

Flame insinuated I was "little miss perfect" cos I chastised Drew for doing circus tricks on a public road. She had a right to do that but at the same time little did she know I'm not perfect - 75DP's collected for speeding - so, as she says, who am I to point the finger?

We are all guilty of getting on our high horses and not practicing what we preach which is why I have come full circle and not taken this thread too seriously.

This thread is already too long to read (so I haven't read all the comments) but all I'll say is that motorcycling is a very individual thing, no one else can ride the bike for you at the time you're riding it so it is all about personal responsibility and managing your own risks.

I have more of a problem with crashe riding a Virago........They should be banned......how many newbies have looked at this pic and thought it was ok to ride one?
