I was in my usual Dunedin M/C shop Saturday morning and suffered the second most wounding discrimination I've felt as a biker!
My last bike an XT600, traded in about this time last year was on the floor. On the sales ticket were the usual details and a lowered price. Also written was . . . . . . "One Senior Owner" . . . . !
Senior! How dare they! I'm as old as my nose and a little younger than my teeth! Ridden bikes for 35yrs plus!
My wife was convulsing with laughter and I worried for her as she staggered about the showroom!
Worse, was that the usual sales people weren't about so I couldn't complain.
My wife made matters worse by pointing out that if I was a "One Senior Owner", she'd better start looking for a more 'JUNIOR" owner!
"One careful owner, only ridden on sunny Sundays or owner now Sazuki convert", I could handle! But 'One Senior Owner' . . . . oh!
I'll be ringing them first thing Monday morning! The insult!
When were you last discriminated against as a biker, rider, whatever!Cheerslol
