crashe shows us how to do it!

No helmet, no gloves, standing on the pegs........ Yes believe it or not this from a KB mentor today.

    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/at...2&d=1186289850

Sorry folks but this sort of thing really gets my MOM blood boiling. Maybe this should be in Rant or Rave......if so apologies to the mod that has to move it, and thanks for the infraction points in advance.

I really do not think that this is appropriate at all! (On private property, closed road, among like minded silly buggers then different story, or even out and about with others that get off on that sort of thing) but on a 250 themed ride, pitched for all comers but encouraging new riders out and about? Give me strength!!

No apologies here Crashe, I have struggled all along with the "I am wearing a t-shirt and no gloves cos it is too hot! or the sure I will teach you to ride no hands ma!"

Yes I acknowledge all the good work you do with newbies, more than I for sure, but seriously, In my mind this sort of stuff belongs on other rides, not newbie ones!

By all means ride the way YOU chose to. But please do not Mentor "our KB newbies" by showing off!

    Rant over.

yes Mom you have a good point, that dude should not be doing that sort of thing on a newbie ride, he should be ashamed of himself.

When Morcs posted up his avatar of going around a roundabout wearing no helmet, he got shit for it, same applies here.

There is NO excuse! This angers me, goes for anyone who does this kinda thing, it displays stupidity, and its gives the rest of us bikers a bad name. You'd only have yourselfs to blame if you bin and stuffed your head, you only have one look after it.

If you have the gear wear it, and wear it with pride as ya bikers!

    This is not mentor material.

Im curious to know if the road was officially closed to take this pic.

Fair call Anne, I agree! Wrong time/place & group of people to be doing it around.
