    Question Disc lock question

Hi Guys. I have got a disc lock for my Yamaha Scorpio. I was wondering where would I buy one of the brightly coloured chords that you put on the disc lock and attach to the handlebar to stop you from forgetting that the lock is on. I saw a bike in Welly with a really bright pink one and thought it was a great idea. Any ideas???
Looking forward to getting out and practice practice and practice.

Put the disc lock on your rear disc. That way if you forget to remove it, you won't drop the bike.

and put it as close to the caliper as possbile so it wont allow much rotation before stopping you.

I ONLY use a disc lock when parked nose in - ie so I have to back out of the parking spot.

Front wheel to the wall and no dramas.

I bought a roll of multi coloured nylon string and use a couple of meters of it from the disc lock to the throttle. Easy to see and never forgotton. Works! Cheers.
When you take thousands of photos of your bike does the light from the flash weaken the plastic?

My disc lock came with a brightly coloured push pin type thing which goes into the ignition, so i cant start the bike without removing it, so imo thats a pretty good reminder device.

Get an alarm, they are cheap (I got mine for $67.50 from Kneescraper). I hate disc locks.

Old ignition key painted yellow, cut the key part off . Put in Barrel when lock is on. Put with lock when not in use. Works well.

I forgot twice, second time I was just moving the bike, after a beer or two. stuffed my rear disc.
after that got an alarmed disc lock from cycletreads for $60 odd, very good, noise if you forget because of sensitive motion sensor. loud alarm. compact and sturdy.
    no gay looking reminder cord.
