When I got the GSX it has service history papers - from the last several years - from Coleman's, where I suspect it was originally bought from back in '88.
Yet when I asked them to service it, they refused because it was "too old".
Note, I was willing to pay, not asking for a free service.
Haldane's and Wild West Honda have both given fantastic services to my bike without any problems (although being an "older bike" Haldane's have a few specialists for these old crates, ie. Ricky).

Very unimpressed with Coleman's attitude. Refusal delivered in a very dismissive way as well.

If I was in the market for a Suzuki, I'd go to Holeshot. I've only ever bought a few shekels worth of accessories from them, but they've always been very good to deal with: I've test-ridden loads of bikes from there, and it wasn't there fault I didn't buy what they had.
A guy I used to work with bought an SV650 from Holeshot, and it didn't arrive when expected, so they gave him a variety of very nice near-new bikes to ride while he was waiting. And then every time he took the SV in for a service, he got a loaner bike from them. That's a very rare thing these days; the only times I've had that was when I paid for one from Continental Cars, when I bought the VFR and Cyclespot gave me a real shitter to ride while they did remedial work on the VFR, and when Brent at Spectrum lent me a hilariously bad Lead 125 scooter (all that was available).
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
