Its not the Buell or end of the saga, should find an environ lawyer to suzuki the arse off it, but in the end Harley worth it. I was so livid with myself that I wanted to guzzi down a ginger beer, but thought next time instead of doing kawakawa I should do karaka on a kwakka.
Next time carry a shotty to shoot the ducati if it appears again!

Mr Boobie, if I were you, I'd buy some touch-up paint of approximately the right colour, just so you don't feel bad/embarrassed every time you see the chips. It won't fix it (which you don't want to do anyway until you do a proper job of trashing the fairing panel), but it will make it less obvious.
MY VFR's in a similar state, after two near-standstill drops. It also has a few scratches and chips on the tank from grit getting under the tankbag. While it pisses me off every time I look at it, it's tempting the BikerGodz too much to get it fixed properly.
When I had my VFR750, I lowsided it, and scraped the hell out of the right-hand side. Luckily, I replaced the broken brake lever but left the rest as is, because a few weeks later a pedestrian leaped out in front of me, and I ended up with ~$3000 worth of repairs.
I hoping to not repeat the performance this time, but at least the touch-up paint means the 'battle scars' aren't noticeable from a few metres away. Like yours, the ones on the right-hand side stood out because underneath the paint the panel was white.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
