    Project VFR400 NC21 - skidMark,

Ok as some of you know, ive bought a vfr400 nc21 , now it was looking extemely unloved when i got it so ive pulled her apart to do her up properly i figured no point doing it halfarsed.

mods please do not merge this thread with the one from when i first bought the bike, cheers.

warning: the following images may disturb some people as it shows a bike in a very erm stripped down state

i will try to keep this updated often

...yes thats the frame....on my chair

lesson number one...make sure you use a decent quality socket on your wrench for the engine mount bolts.... and lean on it with all ur might, just do not tap with a hammer as i discovered they are quite soft bolts...so it just strips em, you gotta just lean on them and they eventually come undone

your much beloved mini will live again, i'm just lacking the $500 to get the windscreens put back in and about the 200 and something by the time i wof and reg her...then shes back on the road....i gotta get it back on the road.....because...i gotta get the bike to the track somehow and seeing the mini has a towbar, i'd rather tow it than ride it there because if i bin it i will end up stranded at the track with an injured bikey

Sheesh, so many bits and pieces. Hope you don't end up with any "extra" nuts and bolts when she goes back together. Imagine if somebody accidentally knocked over that table and spilled all the bits on the floor.

I notice that in picture #1, behind the motor/frame of the VFR, there appears to be a broom sweeping away some remains. I am guessing that this would be from a gsxr that met its fate in a corner....

Bloody impressive stuff there Mark, keep up the good work!
