I'm sorry to say good bye to another friend and rider.

Some of you Christchurch riders may not twig to the name Brendon Richard White.

But many of you will know him as just Brendon.

I use to race a SR500 and so did he and he use to race buckets as well.
Until his better half and him had a kid who is now 3 1/2 years old.
So he has been out of the race scene for awhile.

He was not on his own bike and this would lead some of you a stray as he normally rides a custom V-Max that he has had for many years, he was a good friend of Lloyde's who had a Moto Guzzi MKIV and raced as well before he did a O/E to England for about 8 years.

    RIP mate.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

I heard a lot of emergency vehicle sirens close to my home (Rangiora), so I turned on my police scanner. It made for harrowing listening.

    RIP.

Thanks Le Mans for letting us know something about him. My thoughts are with his family- especially his son/daughter. At 3-1/2 I wonder if they will remember their dad.....I guess its up to those that knew Brendan to make sure they do.

Chanced on this collision shortly after it happened. Saw the bike laying on the grass verge, tail light still burning... I thought the rider might have been thrown clear and was very saddened to learn yesterday the rider was killed. Not his fault either it seems looking at this mornings Press... I travel this road often and although I don't know Brendon I feel most affected by this. My sincere condolences to Brendon's family...

    But, but he's still DEAD.

And that's what counts- you're a long time dead - like forever, love what you're doing or not.

    RIP.
