These guys do a great job of remodelling bike seats to make them lower, they are bikers themselves.

    Like the banter here

First thing here is good on ya for telling us ya dropped it TWICE,most of us wouldn't do that, for fear of the crap ya get,I haven't done it yet to the gsx,but nearly have,i.e holding bike up to check oil level in glass.

Man gotta ask though, shit it's 3.13am and your still up,even the goodnight kiwi would've been in bed years ago lol.

Have you checked the suspension settings?

If not, it is possible that the previous owner has wound up the preload at both ends and so the bike is taller than it needs to be or even should be for best handling.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

You obviously need the Eliminator... http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=55115
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Thems the ones I was thinking of! I've heard great things about their work.

You and I should go for an expedition, Boob.

Oh, and when I dropped my first big bike three or four times in the first month, my inlaws gave me a set of tot's training wheels . . . I felt like putting the damn things on, I can tell you!

Isn't this the ritual of new bike ownership? Drop it on both sides to personalise it? She's yours now and no-one elses! May the affair continue

You can send just your seat to McDonalds and they will do the seat and send it back to you. Only took 3 days when I had mine done. They use a better quality foam than standard bike seats have, so even though they chop some out it is usually more comfortable. They will also make it slimmer if needed. Ring them and have a chat about what you need.

The thought did cross my mind to use yours as a demonstration but no, it has class. And I couldnt put training wheels on a bike I've test ridden.
