    New rider from Tawa (liamrae)

    hey all, ive already introduced myself but then the site crashed and my post disappeared. um ive just bought my first bike a 2002 FXR150. just wonderin if theres anyone around tawa, porirua or johnsonville that wouldnt mind giving me a few pointers and tips before i got for my Basic Handling Skills test. oh and wheres a good place to get some gear eg. Helmets, leathers etc etc

    Hi Liamrae .. there are a huge number of people out our way that would love to ride with you .... Grub and I are in Whitby ... but he is not quite on the bike at the moment ... but check out the mentors page http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/mentors.php?

    Those guys/gals are experience riders/teachers/mentors who volunteer their time to helping out the newies

    Will be good to see you out and about soon.

    i got all my stuff from TSS in lower hutt. if you go there see kerry, bloody good guy he'll sort you out.

    In terms of gear, head to TSS on Cuba St in Lower Hutt. They're really good. Talk to Kerry. He's awesome and will give you a good deal on gear

    Ahem!!! I think you may find that there a quite a few intelligent KBers that live in Titahi Bay Mate!
    Clive & myself for starters! We at least have to good sense to ride Italian machines.
    And who's bike gave out more rides at the last school gala eh?
