Sent the Connie original seat to Tauranga this week to get it refoamed and re shaped by Rider seats. Not too impressed with the Kawaski Gel seat, looks the part but is a little hard on the butt after a long trip So if anyone wants to buy a Kwaka Gel seat its going cheap. Ill post photos and my opinion when it comes back

He did make an awesome job of that, FMS i would have to say
I still think the best solution is what you have with the braces although not as good a look definitely more stable
