Mini's Return. Some greedy arse runs the Top 10 in Wanganui. Four nights minimum booking? Fuck off.

Looks like I'll get mine sorted just in time for the Mini's Return - well I hope so.

Just a question, as I have'nt looked inside a pannier of either the ZG or FJR, are they lined with anything or is it just hard plastic?
I have bought some Givi hard panniers for the FZ1 but I think they could do with lining with a softish grippy type of rubber or maybe felt.

Can get ya a good deal on one, especially if I decide to get one at the same time...sounds great. Far more rugged than any of the aftermarket alloy/carbon cans. The last one I had did over 35,000kms on my K2 Bandit, 12,000kms on my K6 and is still going strong on Mark's K6 (probably another 10,000kms). Looks good in stainless and is still lighter than the standard bazooka.

Hard plastic, but one generally puts a pair of jeans, socks, shirt and dacks (under) in there, amongst which one can generally distribute harder items (like spare dentures) so that they don't chatter or clank against the exoskeleton.

mm yea ,wonder whether it would kick up the throttle response or give any power increase on the concours ...might try to find a ride by video and see what that sounds like.

TBRs sound awesome. My FJR has a pair of them. It's comforting to know that there are dogs in the Wairarapa that are still chasing their tails eight hours later.
