Better looking than standard, uglier than Brian's.

The Two Brother's mufflers on Brian's old Bandit & my RF crapped out on us. Baffles broke free & vibrated around inside...$750 (a few years ago now).

    Givi suck!

    And another thing...

Got rung up to be told that my top box mount will not be here in time for the Mini's Return. Ordered in November...Aparently the Givi workers were out on strike!

Not sure what this means for your Kawasaki (Givi too) topbox Meanie?

Gonna have a wee think about my options as I read on another Concours forum that people had modified other plates to fit. Only thing is Givi system looks like it is braced so may need the help of my friendly engineer.

Other options is to push importer to air fright at their cost - 4 months from ordering is a bloody ridiculously long time to wait...

    Yea mate that sucks

Did you get the recall letter about the panniers and the carrier, might pay to sort that out first before you modify anything
I may have a closer look at Brians can and have a chat to the fella that made it

I have procured a Givi topbox and mounting bracket for the FJR. It shall be test ridden on the upcoming Mini's Return in readiness for its US/Canada excursion later in the year.

I haven't got a problem with the gear (topbox is off my old Bandit), it's just getting it...

AFC rung me while I was down south and left a message to say that my topbox mount had arrived. I got a mate to grab it (haven't even paid for it) and have just finished installing it. Was a bit of a mission but is done now and I'll be able to use it for the 2nd half of the run. Sweet!
