They recommend a max of 20lbs. All that space & you can only carry popcorn. Will stick to my V46.

Dunno what they cost here or even if you can get 'em.

I thought your standard headlight set-up was pretty good?

They're pretty good on high-beam but let there be light I say.

I had considered those but could not find them - also they're over twice what I paid for the +50's. Maybe next time around...

Very new to the market, auto sparky back home showed me some couple months back,he said they were new then, tried the 2 crappy auto franchises and got blank looks like drongo parts people(read pimple faced f.wits)give when a question is in the too hard basket.Auto elctricians best bet.

Apparently the blurb on the pack said approx extra 25mtrs longer range, but brighter than normal bulbs and no extra voltage draw/hassles with burn out.

Do these bulbs generate any more heat, I would be a little worried about the damage the extra heat may cause to the lights reflectorised backing and glass/plastic lens

Same wattage as standard = same heat. Quite a bit on the Concours forum about them. They're all keen on the +80s...

Shouldn't be any problems with the +50's according to the package.
