    Well, that hurt...

Was hoping I'd never have to post this...but I came off my bike this morning. The car in front of me rear ended the car in front of him, and when I braked I lost the rear in the wet and went for a slide along the road. Was far enough back that i didn't hit the car in front, and thankfully the car behind me had left plenty of space too.

Thanks to the nice guys who picked my bike up and put it on the side of the motorway. I haven't had much of a look at the bike yet, it's at WMCC and is yet to be assessed. I went for a ride in the ambulance to the Hutt. Broke my wrist and am going to have some very impressive bruises down my left leg. Could have been so much worse. Out of action for a wee while, which is a shame because I was about to sit my full in 2 weeks! Bummer!

    Just one of those things...

Well that sucks. Hope you and the bike are better soon.

Beer is good, but only once you have finished on the pain meds.

Was one text I was never expecting to get! And not wanting to get either!

Am so glad you're (pretty much) OK and that there's no damage (to you) that won't heal! Hope the news on the bike front isn't too bad either.

    Rest up chick xx

Seems there is something in the air at the moment! Ouch mate! Look after the aches and pains well, meds, beer whatever works best. Hope that little bike comes out ok for you too.

    Ouch! Brings back memories.....
Rest heaps, get spoiled rotten...arnica works real well for bruising, too.
    Take care

That really sucks, think I saw your trusty steed waiting to be picked up, was it close to the Aotea quay off ramp?
