Bike chase into Hamilton, last night! (13 August)

Coming home from work, last night at 19.30, in my cage just about 1 km North of the first roundabout, heading into Hammy, in moderate traffic, I saw a bike coming up quickly in my mirror. I started to move left to let him past when he overtook me on the inside, doing about 150 km! Lucky, I nearly took him out!!!
A few hundred metres behind a cop car, all lights flashing, was following. The bike was too dark (and quick) to see but it was a sportsbike that sounded a deep noise like a 1000+ 2 cylinder. The rider had a light brown jacket.
Anyway, I saw the cop get behind the bike then they moved out of sight around a bend. As I got to the Base, the cops were heading North, lights still going, and pulled into the Base. There are so many roundabouts in this area, the bike could have gone anywhere.
I went to drop my mate off along Te Rapa, just past Vardon lights when 2 cop cars were heading towards the city at full speed. Don't know if they got him but that was my excitement by proxy, last night.

Pull over & take the punishment like a man
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Don't worry, it wasn't me... I don't have a working bike, and I was at home all evening watching The Office (US version).

However, I do know a guy on a SV1000 that could ride to those extremes, but he has a 1-piece race suit, not a light brown jacket...

There's always a chance that he was looking at something a lot nastier than a speeding ticket or loss of licence.

Someone carrying Class A drugs, or with an outstanding warrant, might well be far more likely to pull a runner than Joe Bloggs Biker who sees disco lights after creeping 20 over the limit.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

True true, either way he needs to start acting like a man. Running drugs is for little girls

Wasn't me. The Daytonas black, noisy at the moment(Warren at Virgins is doing the mufflers), and I live out that way. But although i'm many things, being a f**king dipshit on the road, and trying to outsmart plod are two things that I will not do. Hope they got him, accidently smacked his moronic skull on the patrol cars door pillar as they assisted him in, and throw the book at him/her.

agreed with incidents like that police become suspicious of every biker they come across and tend to harass the relatively innocent like me!! and i'm sure many of you are innocent as well!! lol

FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
