    Visor/windscreen cleaner.

The ultimate cleaner i have been using for years for [Perspex/Lexon] Windscreens & Helmet visors is 'PLEDGE' furniture polish.
Believe me, it works, past on from an old Helecoptor Pilot.

I agree it works great and helps the water to run off....however, the propellants used are reported to cause the perspex to get brittle. That's not a problem in a helicopter but biker's visors have been known to break when hit by stones. I tried the pledge in a pump bottle but it's a bit oily and doesn't work as well.

I find by trimming the windscreen, I can get the wind to blow the water down my visor.

    (Nice ride by the way)

As soon as the current can of Plexus is used up, the Hitchers will be back to Pledge. It's vastly superior for water beading and run-off than Plexus. And it's considerably cheaper when purchased at retail.

So squirt it onto a soft cloth rather than the visor?

Only ever use soapy water to clean as it is an iridium coated lens, 5 years on.

Totaly agree with you Hitcher, i will be doing the same back to pledge or rainex, disapointed in the Plexus, in the cost and dosn't bead of the water as well, not even on the screen of the FJR.

The Pledge you want comes in aerosol cans. The smaller size is preferable for ease of transportation purposes. From memory it comes in three flavours: I prefer the orange Clean & Shine. http://www.pledge.com/

Yep, pledge works really well and in my experience doesn't affect iridium tints either.

I once bought some Pledge wet wipes, soft premoistened towels in a zip lock bag, were good for carrying on the bike. IIRC these were the orange flavour.
