    Hi buckBuck.

My wife had a hornet for a few years and went to a bandit recently.

I think they are both very good bikes. I have ridden both and the onlpy diffference I noted was obviously a little more power with the bandit.

As a stepping stone I could recommend that you go for the hornet. A very good all round bike that performed very well for4 her. i think her old one is still for sale at Motomart. It's blue with chain and sprockets replaced just before the swap, and heated handgrips and scottoiler fitted.

Will you be doing 1 up or 2 up touring? If 2up the bandit may be a better option.

    Cheers

Thanks AD, your recommendation is appreciated, the Hornet is the natural progression, as I will not be 2 up touring. The Bandit on the other hand could very well be the 'long term keeper', if I was to purchase immediately.

So, don't be surprised out there if the Hornet is chosen this spring and sold next autumn or spring.

    Heads Up and Enjoy
