Don't know 'bout that, but the current 1200N Sportster gives me a chubby:
(Oh, the dual headlights on the Fatbob are neat too.)

Not many takers I see.Anyways got a call from my local dealer to say my order had been pushed back a bit and would not be here till april next year instead of xmas...so that pissed me off for a start, so i went down and changed my order from the rocker custom, and changed it to a black denim fatbob, with a 110cube screaming eagle kit which comes with barrels, heads, cams, pistons, air cleaner and slip ons. After all the goodies and labour I still walked away with $1000 compared to the price of a Rocker custom so in the end I'm happy, but still gotta wait till april.Theres a top secret unveiling of the rocker and fatbob here in two weeks I've managed to get a foot in the door so I'll post up some top secret picys when i get a chance ...stay safe

I looked at your post and had heaps to say but thought I'd get shot down in flames for appreciation of the Rocker, just as I did at home. Don't know about that rear seat but who needs one anyway? I reckon it was an afterthought.

Be patient man, good cheese doesn't happen overnight (you have to go unwashed for a few days) and good bikes aren't built in a day; just like Rome etc etc.

You could probably go and buy some Jap cruiser with all the bells and whistles tomorrow but is that what you want?

    I didn't think so.............

would of been fine with it but i was the first 1 to order as soon as it was released, meaning top of the list...dealear is only getting 2 of 6 in the 1st phase leaving 4 out and 6 others in the next missing out,so how did i end up in phase 3 ... nevermind think I got a better deal in the end anyway...stay safe

I still like the rocker mate...maybe after they weed the gremlins out and see how they run with the 240 rear.until then a 280 up grade on the fatty would be more practical in my books its already got the looks, and will probably never do the ton again as chiefy will be riddin it.I did read your reply but didnt have a chance to reply before the site crashed...safe riding

Sporty's have always suffered from sad-looking tanks haven't they? You can't go much further than gas station to gas station either.

Things are better these days but still not perfect.

sad really, back in the 60's sportys were one of the fastest thinsg on two wheels, they could pass everything except a petrol station

They say that about V8's but these days they're not that bad and clock up similar k's per tank that a V6 does. Bit off topic tho'.

My 73 sportster has the tiny tank witch has been mounted high at the front so the last lter of fuel won't go down the tap, very sexy looking tank tho

    Uh-Oh.

That's a small block and a big block HD that make my wallet twitch. Add in a Street Rod to go with the Nightster and the Rocker and I'd be, you know, old, but have a pretty cool gargre!
