I know the bit of road - as long as it's clear I cant see any problem on a bike...not legal of course.
So - all roads out of Whangarei are slow roads now.....one way to keep the people in town.....

Was watching the same bit of road today as I was driving the work van. Two school buses going up the hill, a cage and my van. The first bus pulls left as it's an old beford and going 40kph in the 70kph zone. We all pass him, including the other school bus. Even with him pulled hard over, we are all further over on the Medium stip as we pass than I was when I got done on the bike without the car having pulled over. Funny that. Was it legal for us to pass? Was it legal to be on the medium stip at that time only because the bus had pull over to the left? Was it only illegal for me on the bike because the "cage" had not pulled over? Interesting thought for ya's there
