If I'd been on my own, that's probably exactly what I'd have done. But honestly, that prick in the Caldina was all over the place like a mad woman's shit.

This bitch pulls a potentially life ending fucking stunt on a public road and some of you cunts come in here and say I'm overreacting and need to calm down? Holy shit - what a fucked up weak mentality!

I dont think you actually mean to refer to some of us using the term Cunt in a derogatory way. Cunts are lovely things and a great source of pleasure to both men and women. As far as taking it up the arse goes mate, that is a personal and private thing and not sure that this forum is the right place to admit you do or you dont! Personally I have booted in the door of a car that attempted to kill me, it was a spur of the moment almost knee jerk (sorry for the pun) reaction to the situation. Dont call me a sissy or weak mentally because I am neither of those I can assure you. As far as the "the wife" thing goes........that is really the wrong button to push on me, I will bite for that BIG TIME! And all of you can get stuffed now if you tease me cos I will ignore you.

You did the right thing spinning round & getting her number, thats what *555 is for , she should get a letter in the post from the plods telling her she has been seen driving like a dickhead. Follow it up with the complaint you think is a waste of time, it is a little thing that will help, especially if she is involved in a crash in future.
Pity you didn't get the 'gooks' plate as well & do the same to him, works well when it is a company car they have been spotted in

I did a u-turn to get her registration number so I could *555 her. Chances are she didn't even realise it was the same bike - she wouldn't have even seen me turn around as there are fairly tight treelined twisties immediately before the intersection in all directions, so I could have been another bike coming along Peak or Old North Roads.

Bu just out of interest what would you change your reaction too, exactly? Calm and tranquility? Yes - you're right - we have no right to go getting pissed off at people endangering our lives unneccessarily through their shit driving. What ever was I thinking! What I should have shot off to the local florist and bought her a bouquet to thank her! I expect the same could be done with accidental discharge of firearms too! What the hell. The round missed me. No harm, no foul!

You certainly came across that way with your attitude towards the driver. Regardless of that, you seem to expect me to be a sissy and weak and just let it go, not that I would. Do make up your mind.

Any driver/rider of any vehicle that puts my life in danger, the lives of my family and friends, or the friends that take risks with their own lives can expect and do get a dose of MOM!!!!

I have also been known to react to numbskull comments regarding the value of women

Dont let go mate, by all means pursue it through *555, I agree with you, probably a waste of time, but do it if it makes you feel better .

What you dont seem to be grasping here is us telling you that you over-reacted to a sadly commonplace situation today, continued to think about it while you were riding and then faced another stupid car driver. This is normal, you need to chill!

I just saw a couple of kids riding push-bikes - on the footpath - with no lights!!! Where's me shotgun...?

I find it odd that you claim there is no camaraderie here. Strangely, it appears that almost everyone is in agreement - except you. Most reasonable people would accept that the vast majority might actually be right. The key issue is - can you be reasonable?

If you actually believe that it is right and proper to beat the crap out of another road user who pisses you off, and to do otherwise is sissy and weak, then I can only hope you're not around when I make a mistake on the road.

Have YOU ever fucked up on the road? Maybe not, maybe you are indeed perfect after all, secure in your role of self-appointed road-sheriff.

Does your wife ride or drive? Has she ever made a mistake on the road? If so, does she deserve a good beating at the road-side?

Good on ya getting the plate... hope the cops follow it up...

I can't believe some of the responses in this thread. No tailgating dipshit in a cage has the right to deprive my little boy of his dad just because they're in a hurry.
I can understand being pissed about it. I would be too.

You've reminded me to put a couple of old plugs on the bike now - just for tailgaters. Usually they'll back off when you turn right around and look at them, but I had a dickhead last week who sat less than 10m off my ass at 80k (heavy m/way traffic). A plug through his windscreen might have convinced him that my life is not a plaything for him

Actually, in reality I hardly gave it a second thought after getting the rego, *555ing and then gettting a few shots of the intersection (since I had my camera with me anyway) but it certainly shortened my fuse for the second munter.

Just because it's commonplace doesn't mean it should simply be overlooked. These pillocks need removing from the road. It's not normal either - it's careless.

I don't need to chill - they need to learn to fucking well drive.

How were they endangering the lives of others? That's the trouble with simpletons - they try to extend the argument to the extremes without thought for the actual situation. I bet you're a Labour voter.

You must be reading a different thread.

I'm more than reasonable. Just what is unreasonable about expecting people not to drive like zombie fuckwits? I presume they were both licensed (at least, the woman certainly would have been). Is it unreasonable to expect due care and attention when driving?

Of course I have made mistakes - I never claimed perfection. What makes you think I'm acting like a "road sheriff" or any other fantasys you might have about my actions today? I got her registration number, quite possibly without her even realising I was the one she could have seriously maimed, and called the cops, you fuckwit. Yeah. I'm the big bad sherriff! Take that! I wrote your registraion number down!

Strangely I've never found myself on the wrong side of the road facing a motorcycle, or any vehicle for that matter. If I did I think I'd feel so guilty and apologetic I'd be sure to make some effort to let the rider know (I can understand she might have felt threatened by a "big bad biker" but she only had to acknowledge the error to diffuse the situation - she didn't have to exit the car and tussle with me). I'd make a particular effort if s/he'd had to come to a complete stop in order to avoid me. But I guess that's the difference between a responsible road user and these twits.

You're just a cock for making posing such a ridiculous scenario. Did I beat anyone at the roadside? No. Would I have? Most likely not. But if MY WIFE had got off the bike, I might well have given the gook shithead an earful. That's the absolute least he deserved. If he's going to disrespect other road users, why should we respect him?
