Be the person your dog thinks you are...
you say that. Bike cost me $4200 as a bargain on Trademe. $3800+ and counting for damage and valued at $7500 by Ian Day. I will be happy when fixed vut untill then.....
havnt got the bike back yet!!!. Wing mirrors arrived and dont fit. Indicators arrived without the mounting brackets and the handlebar crashbung doesnt fit. Paint job was also crap so had to go back again......
Sounds like the shop is the prob.
A lot of M/C parts people are busy people on low pay so the service can suffer.
The bike shops obviously don't think parts is important to their business.
You make sure you tell the shop what you think of their service.
I can imagine there will be plenty of "stories' of why you had to wait..
Cheers
Shit must be lucky, brake master cylinder none in nz to fit, ex japan, bike back in my garage in 6 days, not bad in my books, and add extra day for courier to the naki after landing in nz.
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
its the bike shop... Ian day is not a good guy or good dealership business
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.
have been plenty of stories. I rang AMI and told them I was not happy. They started some investigation and got the ball rolling. They were going to patch it up for me so I could go on a rally last weekend but they had had it so long the WOF had expired and not quite warrantable. Fingers crossed for this week!
well i ordered some part that got errr scratched and they arived within one day...
but for the fairings they said 3 weeks![]()
have now taken it into my own hands to get aftermarket parts. They will be here on saturday........
