    I've never ridden an FXR before... and I'd say IMO go for that if you're wanting to commute in town.

    But...

    The RG is a brilliant little bike! I'll try post pics once I get them of me riding my RG to the Cold Kiwi, it was completely loaded with gear! Apart from getting use to the weight difference it handled brilliantly, even got up the muddy/rocky track with ease

    If you do get an RG, make sure you buy one that starts easily. The kick starter can be one of the problematic things for these bikes but my bike starts up first or second kick If it doesn't start after the second... or 6th kick... it's cause I've forgotten to turn the fuel on
