    Should I buy a 97 Triumph T 595?

    don,t know much about this bike, is it a good model ? anybody had one
    ? opinions please?
    ok condition , 33000 kms.
    know and trust the seller.
    about 8 G.

    They have a few major problems . Break 4th gear & break the damper springs in the clutch which can fall into the motor while still going !! Eletrics on some where a bugger as well . Try for a later model 955 as they got alot of these things sorted .

    I have found a clutch spring sitting in the sump that was in 8 pieces.
    If it's not used for a couple of weeks wont start due to battery has not got enough charge, so have got a battery tender to keep it up.
    But all in all havent had any real trouble with it.
    It's a good bike handles well and more than enough power for the road.
    And I think it's got a better look than the 955i.

    thanks for the replys all, do want a more sporty bike but still love mine, might give this one a miss. I ride everyday and it does not sound ideal for trouble free motoring.
