Cruiser rider - I was impressed

Yesterday a mate and I were riding down Old Tauranga Road, at speed...and I came up behind a cruiser. We were heading in the direction towards the gorge.

I didnt know what make the bike was but we had fun on the straights.

When it came to the sharp corners (for those of you who know) this cruiser was gone! after a couple of tight twisties, I couldnt catch him.

It was impressive to watch and how he handled his lines and the bike. He must ride that road everyday, or knew it very very well to ride at the speeds he was doing.

Damn! I think I need more practise.

    Outdone by a cruiser!!!

Well done to him who ever he was. I'd like to see him on a sports bike
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

WhiteTrash or Crasher Pete would know the truth of this but I heard of some geezer on a sports bike being passed around the outside by a Harley while going hard up the Rimutaka's. Rumour has it that following this he was crying into his cornflakes at Wellington Mototcycles, thinking about giving up bikes when Aaron Slight pulled up on his Harley.
My claim to fame is being passed by a Harley at a track day. I know I'm slow but that's just rubbing it in.
