Welcome Macka, to the forum, and to m/cycling.
From what i've seen and heard, the GT is a bloody good bike.
Heaps of things for you to learn about. So take ya time, and maybe do a riding course. It will fast track your learning. Also,ALWAYS wear good riding gear.
    Have fun.

Hey there, welcome to KB! So, what colour is your bike? Electric mango? ... the reason why I ask, is that there is a coven of electric mango GTR riders waiting to pounce on any new Hyosung rider of one!

Anyhow, ride safely and seek out those courses which will put you on the right track (RRRS!)

Haha welcome another Hyosung rider. Did you get yours from TSS in the hutt? If so our bikes are practically brothers :P I snapped up the Yellow one last week. It was parked right next to the red one . I guess you got that one.

I commute from the city to the hutt every day (yes the wrong way) and back in the evening so I might see you around.

    very good choice

Just put mine thru first service and had the exhaust debaffled god what a difference in sound as for riding when the cardioligist says I can ride again I will know what she rides like now after service and debaffle
But ride safe don't take risks go with the traffic a while before you try and lane split and good on you for doing the extra courses

    Welcome..
I have a Hyosung GT250 (the naked version of the GTR) Good bike, and does the job nicely.

I had quite a few teething problems with the bike when I first got it, but they were all sorted out under warranty so not really a big deal.

Enjoy the bike, and if you need insurance sorted check out www.kiwibike.co.nz they do good deals. (hmm they have updated their webpage )
