Talking There IS a second childhood

Eureka...!! I’ve discovered there IS a second childhood..... Had to leave the first one behind when we had twins, mortgage etc, but I just had my 50th and bugger me, my family gave me a shiny new KDX200 (and a bright green cake.....). I’m off up to Woodhill tomorrow for the “Power” ride, can’t wait... So, if you see a greying, elderly gentleman lying on the ground, panting and sweating profusely, with “OLD FART” (thanks kids) on the front number plate, please ride carefully round him.....

Hi Leong, yes it is I, Phil. I’d heard you were having some fun with your track days. We must get together for a catch up...I even found the RC12i in the shed recently.....

I surprised myself at Woodhill today, straight back into it head wise, but the bodies got a bit of catching up to do. I rode three laps of the short track and four laps of the long track by 2pm, but the blisters got the better of me and I packed up early. The KDX is everything I hoped for, so easy to ride, really pleased with it. Tracks had a little of everything, even a bit of clay!
What really impressed me about the ride was how laid back the organisation was and huge number of female riders of all ages. If this is representative of your average modern trail ride, we’re onto a winner...........Thanks to Greg Power and his band of merry helpers. Very cool day...

Welcome aboard the site. Think of it not so much as a second childhood or mid-life crisis - more of just getting back to what you were doing before you were (rudely?) interupted by children/mortgages/whatever!
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

Glad you had a good day. Yes, we must catch up sometime. I've been meaning to go see a trail ride at some stage, so if you let me know next time you're out I'll come out for a look see!
