Tri boy, I do not know yet whether I will be on this ride or not, I have some major domestic problems with a wife who has just left me. I really want to be on it, all depends on whether I still have a bike at that stage!!

My brain is starting to work again, assets wont be flicked off that quick so I should still have a bike then! I need to look at the routes etc but do hope to be there

How about the SI passes ride? You keen enough for that? I reckon you would have enough brownie points to knock out for a week. You could fly the missus to CHCH for $39 on virgin in Feb (just in case you struggling)....

I'm planning to do this trip 'round then too; as a 'shake down' for something big I am embarking on later in '08. I want to get thru there before the Molesworth road closes for the fire season. Keep me in the loop please for this.

Will keep you in the loop, We were planning on timing the SI passes ride with a wee gravel tour of the south island involving camping and so on....

Nov 30-Dec 2. Ride is adaptable to numbers, so its no sweat if theres 15 or two on it. I think it falls on the same weekend as a northern coast ride, so I'm not expecting big numbers.

Just back from a ride with crisis and he sounded keen and so am I. Nick's not 100% sure as may conflict with his trip to chch.

To clarify Friday 30 November people will meet and stay at Awakino Pub. Saturday ride north ending up with a night at Raglan?
Sunday people take the various options for routes home?
Where are people planning on staying in Raglan?

Awakino, and the Raglan Sunset Motel are the accom points.
Please check the calender thread, and contact the Hotels to book your rooms.(mention the adv bike riders)
Leaving it too late may mean a quick hunt for accom in Raglan, but its very limited in Awakino.
On another note, I'm finding more interesting roads, so hopefully riders won't have to travel well known routes.
Will finalise the specific Sat ride once numbers/original locations are factored in.

UPDATE ON ACCOM.
We have booked the Awakino Hotel for Fri night. 06 7529815.
The Raglan Sunset Motel is now our Sat night Accom. 078250050.(the Raglan pub is booked out)
Please list your attendance in the calender thread. Numbers are limited to approx 15.
Accom costs to be finalised, but work off approx $70 per head per night, not including meals.
